We know you’re busy… and that designing a home can be overwhelming. This is why we’ve simplified our design process into 5 easy steps so that you understand every stage of the journey. By working side by side with our builder and design team, you can put your trust in us to ensure your home is being built by only the best, and that you have a say in each step of the process.

1 | Let's meet

Our exceptional communication begins with your first enquiry. You will receive a call from our friendly staff to arrange a time to catch up and discuss your family’s needs. We will show you some of our home designs and completed work for inspiration and you can share with us your ideas, Pinterest boards and any snippets or sketches of plans that you may already have collaborated.

We will discuss your requirements, possibilities, budget and answer any questions you may have about the design and build process. As a complimentary service, our builder will have visited your block of land prior to our meeting so that we can help you determine the best home design and positioning for your block.

2 | Preliminary Planning

We have all the ideas and sketches, now it is time to delve further into the details to ensure you get exactly what you want. We sit down with you and begin sketching and planning your dream home into a concept that can be sent to our talented drafting team and drawn into a preliminary floor plan for quoting.

At this stage, a preliminary agreement and quote will be drawn up and discussed in detail with you to ensure complete satisfaction in the cost, build plans, and schedule. CRJ work with you and our team of trades and suppliers to plan and confirm all aspects of your build, ensuring our quotes are to a superior level of detail and contain all information regarding your design and build.

3 | Acceptance

Once you’re satisfied with the design and build plans, have approved the quote and a schedule is decided, you will receive the final documentation including all detailed and specified information on the design, and a residential building contract. When both parties have signed the contract and a deposit is paid, then the final step before your dream home is built is for all necessary insurances to be paid, enabling the building approval to go ahead.

4 | Build

Congratulations!! We are now ready to commence the construction of your new home. With all design plans approved, our team will begin making your plans come to life. We will be working closely with you over the coming weeks and will provide you with regular on-site access to ensure that you stay involved and are able to inspect and provide feedback on each stage of the project.

5 | Welcome Home

It is time to handover your beautiful new home. Prior to receiving your keys, we do a complete walkthrough with you, making sure you are thoroughly satisfied with our work and provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

At the final handover, you’ll receive all keys, remote controls and a neatly displayed folder containing all of your important contracts, documents, instruction manuals and warranties along with a paper copy of your plans for future reference and a homeowner maintenance guide to help you keep everything looking great for years to come. ALL you need to do now is move in, relax and enjoy.

Don’t worry… we’re still here!

Our commitment to service and excellence in everything we do does not come to an end just because the construction process has finished. We are committed to helping you keep your home looking as good as the day we handed it over to you.

We understand that building a new home is a HUGE investment… one that you will want to protect for years to come, so we are providing you with a 24 month extended maintenance period along with 5 independent build inspections to put your mind at ease that everything is as it should be. This is a complimentary service that we know you will love - all you need to do is record any items you feel need attention and we will contact you annually to inspect your property for and unexpected wear and tear and address these items together.

Upon completion of the inspection, you will be presented with a professional report confirming where things are going great and highlighting any areas that may need some attention.
